Correcting scoliosis with precision.
Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis, adult degenerative scoliosis, and complex deformity revisions — treated by a senior surgical team with 1,400+ cases and EOS 3D imaging at three JCI-accredited hospitals in Istanbul.

What is scoliosis?
Scoliosis is a lateral curvature of the spine measuring more than 10 degrees on a Cobb angle X-ray. It affects 2–3% of the population and can progress rapidly during adolescent growth spurts — or develop gradually in adults due to degenerative disc disease and osteoporosis.
While mild curves are managed with observation or bracing, curves above 40–50 degrees typically require surgical correction to prevent progression, chronic pain, and cardiopulmonary compromise. Surgery achieves 60–70% curve correction and halts further progression permanently.
- Most common in adolescent girls during the growth phase (ages 10–16)
- Cobb angle >45° in growing children and >50° in adults is the standard surgical threshold
- EOS 3D imaging allows full-spine assessment at 10× lower radiation than standard X-ray
- Posterior spinal fusion achieves durable correction — most patients return to sports within 6 months

What we do
Posterior Spinal Fusion
The gold standard for curves >45°. Pedicle screw instrumentation across the deformity with autograft/allograft fusion. EOS-guided 3D planning ensures optimal screw placement and curve correction.
Minimally Invasive Scoliosis Surgery
For selected adult degenerative curves and smaller adolescent deformities. Smaller incisions, less blood loss, faster recovery — typically 5–7 day hospital stay versus 7–10 days for open fusion.
Growing Rod Systems — Pediatric
For children under 10 with progressive scoliosis who are not yet skeletally mature. Growing rods allow continued spinal growth while controlling the curve — adjusted every 6 months, definitive fusion at maturity.
EOS Imaging & 3D Pre-op Planning
Full-spine stereoradiographic imaging in standing position. 3D reconstruction of the spine allows precise surgical planning and virtual implant placement — eliminating guesswork at the operating table.
World-class orthopaedic care at a fraction of Western costs
50–70% Cost Saving
JCI-accredited surgery at 30–50% of UK / US prices — without compromising implant quality or surgical standards.
